Alanis Morissette
Alanis Morissette, who is a native of Canada, was born June 1 1974, in Ottawa. Alanis' Greek is a female version of the surname Alan's father had. The name of her mother is Georgia and she has two brothers: Chad as well as Wade (Alanis"Twin"). She began playing the piano when she was 6 and the guitar at the age of 21. Alanis released a hit single from 1986 that was titled Fate Stay with me (b Side: Find The Right Man). To be specific, during her time in Canada, Alanis recorded two dance-pop albums, Alanis (in 1991) and the album Now Is The Time in 1992. At age 18, she relocated to Toronto and collaborated with various musicians and songwriters, but they didn't seem to work. Then, in 1994, she came across the perfect collaborator: the producer and songwriter Glen Ballard, who had already worked with many artists including Aretha Franklin Michael Jackson and Barbra Streisand. In 1994, she made the move to LA at age 19. The Madonna's Maverick Records released the song "Jagged Little Pill" the 13th of June 15th, 1995. Alanis came up with a method for creating songs that were completely personal to her and based on her own life experiences. JLP is the 3rd most-sold album of all time and has been purchased more than 30 million times around globe.
