Emily VanCamp is a Canadian actress from Canada. Emily VanCamp became famous for performing alongside Greg Berlanti. He cast her on the ABC Drama Brothers & Sisters and The WB drama Everwood between 2007 and 2010. VanCamp gained further recognition by acting as the lead in Emily Thorne on the ABC series Revenge between 2011 and 2015. VanCamp was a star of the Fox health drama The Resident between 2018 and 2021. VanCamp also played Sharon Carter / Agent 13 / Power Broker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and was in the movies Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (2016) in addition to as the 2021 Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and What If ...? VanCamp was first interested in acting when she took their sister Katie for a visit to The Ladies Room film set. She began acting lessons every Saturday afternoon.
