Jill Hennessy

The resident of Edmonton, Alberta has a mix of ancestry from Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. Jacqueline is her twin sister. She is also an actor. When she was growing up, Jill became fluent in several languages, including Italian, French and Spanish. Her interest in acting at the age of twelve. At the age of 12, in Toronto, she began her acting career in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. She played an escort with one of the sisters. She then studied improv comedy with Second City under Deb Kimmet. Following her move to New York, Claire signed a two-year deal to join Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. During her three year run as a character, she also had the privilege of working in feature films like RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), as well as I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). For the next few years she was offered roles in a number of forgettable movies, but in 1999 she was cast as a lead in the miniseries uremberg alongside Alec Baldwin.
