Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden was born on the 14th of August 1959, in La Jolla, California, the third of five children. Her mother, Beverly (Bushfield) she was a homemaker and her father, Thad Harold Harden an active soldier. They moved a lotHarden first got interested in acting when her family was living in Greece and had been to plays in Athens. Harden started her college studies in Europe in American institutions and then moved to the US and completed her education at the University of Texas. In 1983, Harden earned her MFA in theatre at NYU. While she was in a movie as early as 1986, in the largely unnoticed The Imagemaker (1986), her first mainstream role in a television films, was the sultry female fatale of"The Imagemaker," the Coen Brothers' cleverly offbeat tribute to gangster films, Miller's Crossing (1990). Harden was praised for her stunning performance as Verna as a stunning, trouble-making female. Harden thereafter worked steadily as a supporting character, such as the portrayal of Ava Gardner in Sinatra (1992) which was a biopic on television on Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
