Awkwafina was an American actor and musician who began her career with clever raps that tackled gender and ethnic identities from a the most comical of perspectives. She then expanded into Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants.
